PEEP / Bubble Jar For Bubble CPAP or NIV Ventilators

A bubble CPAP jar, also known as a bubbler, is a part of a bubble CPAP machine that contains water and creates pressure. The jar's water level is visible through a transparent bottle. 

Features of a bubble CPAP jar:

• Water level visibility: The transparent bottle allows the user to see the water level without interruption. 
• Submersion depth: The depth of submersion determines the delivered CPAP. 
• Pressure oscillations: The bubble CPAP generates vibrations that may improve gas exchange and CO2 elimination. 

How the bubble CPAP jar works

The end of the expiratory tubing is submerged in the water of the bubble CPAP jar to create the desired pressure. The humidification chamber, which holds water, is filled from a water bag through a water feed tube. The humidifier promotes airway hydration.
